You can take a few steps to stop bleeding after breast augmentation. Your surgeon is the first thing to do. They can use a draining technique to drain the blood pooling and minimize pain and swelling. To prevent blood loss, they can also administer a blood thinner.
Hematoma
Late occurrences of hematomas following breast augmentation are rare. Although the cause of hematoma is not known, it can be attributed to a polyurethane-coated implant or friction forces between the prosthesis and surrounding tissue. Ibrahim et al. Willens et.al. reported cases involving late hematomas in women who had breast augmentation with bilateral submuscular silica gel. reported cases of late bleeding nine to 38 years after breast augmentation.
It can be uncomfortable but not life-threatening. To manage the condition, avoid strenuous activities, rest on your side, eat lots of healthy foods, and use an Ice Pack to reduce swelling. In extreme cases, you may need to have the hematoma removed again.

Seroma
Seroma bleeding may occur following breast augmentation. These symptoms include pain, swelling and discharge. These symptoms may appear anywhere from seven to 10 days after surgery. If left untreated, seromas will dissolve naturally within a month or two, but larger ones may take up to a year. Sometimes, severe cases may require surgery to remove the seroma. Until then, you can manage your symptoms at home.
Blood supply disruption is the cause of seroma formation. This causes tissue loss known as necrosis. Different surgical techniques can result in different rates of seroma bleeding.
Post-operative bleeding
Minor bleeding after breast augmentation is normal and is not a cause for alarm. While excessive bleeding should be avoided, it is not usually serious. If you notice that your clothing has been stained with blood after your surgery, try to keep the stained area covered with a tissue. You may see blood dripping from the incision. This is normal, but it could indicate more serious bleeding. If there is excess blood, consult your doctor.
Post-operative bleeding can result from many different causes. Blood can flow from wounds when blood is pushed or pulled out of the area. Wearing compression garments, which restrict movement and apply pressure to the wound site, can help prevent post-operative bleeding. Your surgeon may have to stitch the bleeding vessels if you experience severe bleeding. A higher chance of bleeding is also present if you have a tendency for bruises. Avoid taking aspirin, blood-thinning medications, and any other medication that can cause bleeding for the first two weeks after surgery.

Treatment
Breast augmentation can lead to serious infections. If the infection becomes too severe, the surgeon will take out the implant. The surgeon will then wait three to six more months before inserting another one. The cost of the surgery includes costs for treating the infection. Although some patients may experience some asymmetry, this is not a problem.
It is quite common to have bleeding from the breasts. This can be treated with a reduction in blood pressure. While most cases resolve quickly, persistent bleeding can require additional surgery to drain the hematoma.
